The B.C. Conservation Officers Service said it had to sedate an “adventurous” elk caught up in a zip line on a private property near Youbou over the weekend.
The service said officers were able to safely sedate and free the large bull elk.
It is reminding landowners in the area to safely secure and manage items on their property that could trap wildlife.
