Saanich police are looking at possible impaired-driving charges after a single-vehicle crash involving a taxi Thursday night.
Sgt. Julie Fast said the incident happened about 11:20 p.m. in the Burnside Road West/Interurban Road area.
The lone occupant, who is not the taxi’s registered owner, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The taxi sustained significant damage and was towed away.
The investigation is ongoing.
