A cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday after he was struck on Richmond Avenue.
The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Richmond and Coronation Street.
Yellow police tape cordoned off the area and a white bicycle lay on its side against a traffic light standard at the southeast corner of the intersection.
Two vehicles — a blue Honda and a teale-coloured Mazda pickup truck — were damaged in the incident.
Collision reconstructionists were still on the scene at 6:30 p.m. — a northbound lane of Richmond Avenue between Fort and Bay streets closed to traffic — trying to piece together what happened, said Const. Matt Rutherford.
In some crashes “it’s very clear what happened and in some it’s not as clear,” he said.
