A court appearance for two men who escaped from William Head prison was adjourned Thursday until Sept. 19.
James Busch, 42, and Zachary Armitage, 30, escaped July 7. They were recaptured July 9 after an off-duty police officer recognized them from a police bulletin that had been issued.
While Metchosin resident Martin Payne found dead in his home July 12 and his vehicle was found July 9 in Oak Bay, West Shore RCMP have not made a link to the escape.
