Comox Valley RCMP looking for suspect after woman grabbed in park

Comox Valley RCMP are looking for the man who grabbed a woman while she was walking in a park in Courtenay.

The 21-year-old was walking through Bill Moore Park on Kilpatrick Avenue when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her arm, said Comox Valley RCMP spokeswoman Const. Monika Terragni.

The woman turned around and kicked the man. He fell down and she fled.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 40 years old and approximately five-feet-nine-inches tall with a thin build.

He had a dishevelled appearance with curly brown hair, possibly longer at the back. He was wearing a faded red running jacket with a horizontal reflective stripe on the back and black jeans, ripped at the knees.
