The discovery of a body Saturday in the area of Mount Douglas prompted police to close the road up the mountain.
The investigation of the death closed the access road from about 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to police. Police said the death is not considered suspicious and there is no concern for public safety. The investigation has been turned over to the B.C. Coroners Service to determine when, where and by what means the person died.
