$40,000 excavator stolen from property near Nanaimo

Nanaimo RCMP are investigating the theft of a $40,000 excavator from a rural property south of Nanaimo. The owner of the Corsini Road site thinks the theft might have happened between Nov. 12 and Nov. 14.

Nanaimo RCMP are investigating the theft of a $40,000 excavator from a rural property south of Nanaimo.

The owner of the Corsini Road site thinks the theft might have happened between Nov. 12 and Nov. 14. The excavator could have been driven onto a nearby logging road and taken away with a flat-deck truck or by some other means.

The excavator is a 2012 E35 Bobcat Mini with rubber tracks and serial number AFM101239. “Southside” and phone number 250-591-1510 are written on the cab in bright orange paint.
