A power issue at Vancouver International Airport has been restored but is still causing problems and flights delays in the domestic terminal.
According to the airport, the outage only affected services in the domestic terminal such as the gates and baggage system.
UPDATE: Power is back in the domestic terminal building at YVR. We are working to get passengers on their way as quickly and safely as possible as we restore services. Huge thanks for everybody's patience this morning!

The lights were off but are now back on in the domestic terminal, according to spokeswoman Zoe Weber. Some Twitter users posted photos of the airport in the dark, including one person who tweeted about using glowsticks to see in the bathroom.

Weber said some flights are still delayed because of the earlier problems with the gates.
Passengers are still being processed through security, she said adding the international and U.S. terminals are operating as normal.
Weber didn’t know when the problem started, and said that the cause is unknown at this time.
“Power is starting to come back on. We’re still seeing impact to flight operations,” said Weber.
“We recommend all passengers check with their airline for updated flight information and airport arrival times, prior to departing for the airport.”
B.C. Hydro says it is not aware of any problems at the airport.
