Wolf risk eases, Island park reopens

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service has been unable to capture a wolf that has been spotted on Discovery Island, but officers say they don't believe it poses a risk to people.

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service has been unable to capture a wolf that has been spotted on Discovery Island, but officers say they don't believe it poses a risk to people.

The traps were removed Wednesday and the Discovery Island Marine Provincial Park has re-opened. It had been closed to the public while the wolf was being monitored.
