Victoria police are investigating two sexual assaults they believe might be related. The first happened Dec. 4 at 9:15 p.m. when a woman was slapped on her buttocks by a man after getting off a bus near Burnside Road and Carroll Street.

Victoria police are investigating two sexual assaults in which women were grabbed by strangers.

Victoria police are investigating two sexual assaults they believe might be related.

The first happened Dec. 4 at 9:15 p.m. when a woman was slapped on her buttocks by a man after getting off a bus near Burnside Road and Carroll Street.

The man is described as white and five-foot-six with a slim build.

He was wearing a brown, red and beige knitted cap with stripes, a dark top and dark pants.

About 6 p.m. on Dec. 13, a woman was grabbed by a man in the area of the Galloping Goose trail and Gorge Road East. She yelled, and the man, described as five-foot-four with a slim build, ran away.

He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up.

Neither woman was physically injured, police said.
