Environment Canada is warning Island residents to brace for a dusting of snow over the next two days.
In a special weather statement released Thursday afternoon, Environment Canada said there is the potential for snow with light accumulation from Greater Victoria as far north as Nanaimo.
A low-pressure system across the south coast is expected to bring a chance of wet snow from Nanaimo to Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
Drivers should be prepared for slippery road conditions, especially across the Malahat.
There is a low probability of accumulating snow in the next two days.
