The Royal B.C. Museum is offering half-price admission through to Sept. 7 as it reopens in stages amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since it reopened on June 19 with timed admission tickets, the museum has been open daily, except for Wednesday, when it is closed for cleaning.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year and natural history gallery are open, and on Aug. 1, the First Peoples gallery will open. All exhibits will be available to visitors starting Sept. 7.

Since June 19, more than 3,500 people have visited the museum.

When the museum is open, the first hour — between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. — is reserved for seniors, vulnerable people and first responders.
