B.C. Ferries says the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal is still open and ferries are on schedule, with customer parking available in the lot adjacent to the ticketing and administration building.

A minor rockslide late Sunday afternoon has closed the parkade at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal.

No one was injured when the slide spilled into the parkade, but one vehicle received minor damage.

The terminal is still open and ferries are on schedule, with customer parking available in the lot adjacent to the ticketing and administration building.

Anyone with a vehicle in the parkade is required to check in with an on-site B.C. Ferries representative to arrange for access.

“Safety is our highest priority and the parkade has been closed until further notice,” B.C. Ferries said in a statement. “We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the parkade closure.”
