Police probe two deaths in Campbell River area

Campbell River RCMP are investigating two sudden deaths after bodies were found in separate locations on Saturday. One body was found in Nuns Creek Park at 2 a.m. in an area where homeless people are known to camp.

Campbell River RCMP are investigating two sudden deaths after bodies were found in separate locations on Saturday.

One body was found in Nuns Creek Park at 2 a.m. in an area where homeless people are known to camp. The other was discovered behind a video outlet on Dogwood Street at 2 p.m.

There was no apparent cause of death in either case. Police released few details, saying both inquiries are in their early stages. The coroner is investigating both cases.
