Police have identified a suspect after a man was struck with a bike lock in downtown Victoria.
The assault happened on June 5 just after 3:30 p.m. when a bystander saw a cyclist ignore a stop sign at an intersection. The man told the cyclist to pay attention and obey the stop sign.
The two began arguing and the cyclist struck the other man with a bike lock, said Victoria police spokesman Const. Cam MacIntyre. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
