Saanich police say an incident at the Vancouver Island Technology Park was peacefully resolved.
Officers were called to the park on Markham Street on Tuesday evening, with the department saying about 5 p.m. that they were dealing with an unspecified incident. The public was asked to avoid the area and warned of traffic delays in the area.
About. 9 p.m., police said it had been resolved and a male in crisis was receiving a medical evaluation and mental health care.
Saanich Police are currently on scene at the Vancouver Island Technology Park (4476 Markham St) for an ongoing incident. Police are asking that the public please stay clear of that area so we can safely resolve the situation. Expect traffic delays.
