Victoria, B.C. - A 70-year-old Oak Bay man has died of his injuries after the scooter he was riding collided with a car on Dec. 28 in Oak Bay.
The man, whom Oak Bay police are not identifying at the request of his family, died Sunday morning in hospital.
He was riding an electrical scooter at the intersection of Foul Bay Road and Chaucer Street at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday when there was a collision with a 2004 Chevrolet Impala driven by a 90-year-old Saanich woman. He was taken to hospital at the time with undisclosed injuries.
Police said in a news release they are continuing their investigation.
