No one injured in North Saanich house fire

No one was injured in a Thursday-night house fire in North Saanich on Aboyne Avenue, near Ardmore Golf Course. Crews were dispatched about 6:45 p.m., with North Saanich firefighters assisted by their counterparts from Central Saanich and Sidney.

No one was injured in a Thursday-night house fire in North Saanich on Aboyne Avenue, near Ardmore Golf Course.

Crews were dispatched about 6:45 p.m., with North Saanich firefighters assisted by their counterparts from Central Saanich and Sidney. All occupants were out of the home when the crews arrived.

“We initiated an aggressive exterior attack and held the fire to the main residence,” said North Saanich Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Kari.

The residents of the home are being looked after by the Peninsula Emergency Measures Organization’s Emergency Support Service.
