A 15-year-old Saanich girl who was last seen by family on Monday has been located, said Saanich Police.
Sarah Grace Watts was found in the Vancouver area last night.
“Watts is safe and has been reunited with her family,” Sgt. Steve Eassie said today.
There were few details Friday morning about how Watts was located and what she was doing.
“Although I just learned of her being located,” Eassie said. “It is my understanding that she was found at a community shelter just before midnight.”
Police had earlier believed Watts might be trying to travel to Kitchener, Ont., where she once lived.
Police thanked the public for its assistance.
