A 19-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault Thursday after West Shore RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing just before 5 p.m.
Police attended a residence in the 500-block of Windthrop Road in Colwood, off Wishart Road, and found a 47-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound.
The Serious Crimes Unit is investigating.
The victim was transported to hospital and is receiving care for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said Cpl. Nancy Saggar.
Saggar said the suspect remains in custody and police do not believe the public is at risk.
