West Shore RCMP are investigating several reports of indecent acts on local trails, including one in Colwood on Monday.

A woman was walking on a trail in Havenwood Park about 5 p.m., near the 3400-block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, when she was approached by a man who exposed his genitals. She was not harmed.

The suspect is described as Asian, in his 20s and about five-foot-nine with a slim build. He was wearing black basketball shorts and a dark baseball cap.

Const. Nancy Saggar said police have received similar reports of another male exposing his genitals to women walking along the Galloping Goose in Langford. “Police have attended the trails on numerous occasions but have not located a suspect.”

Receiving reports of indecent acts immediately after they happen gives police the best chance to apprehend someone, she said.

Call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 with any information.
