A driver received minor injuries when a vehicle left the Trans-Canada Highway near McKenzie Avenue and rolled over.
The driver was headed south about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when another driver tried to change lanes.
“The driver had to swerve to avoid getting struck, hit the centre median and then went back right across all lanes and down an embankment,” said Saanich police Const. Markus Anastasiades.
The southbound lanes were closed while the vehicle was retrieved, and were reopened by 7:45 p.m.
Police continue to investigate.
