Two unusual road bikes were stolen from Quebec visitors in Nanaimo overnight on Wednesday from a parking lot at 741 Third St.
A green Peugeot, single-speed bike with two different tires was taken. The other bike is a red 10-speed Marinoni, with bright orange after-market pedals and an expensive brown leather seat.
The bike owners do not have serial numbers with them.
Anyone who has information on the theft or knows the location of the bikes is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file # 2021-42044.
