The 3 p.m. sailing of the Spirit of Vancouver Island was delayed by almost an hour Wednesday afternoon due to a medical emergency on board the vessel, B.C. Ferries said in a tweet.
The vessel was held in dock at Swartz Bay but departed at 3:54 p.m. It was expected to arrive in Tsawwassen at 5:29 p.m.
The 4 p.m. sailing from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen departed on time. It was expected to arrive at 5:36 p.m.
