ArtSea Community Arts Council: Salish Sea Lantern Festival, Aug. 24, is held on the waterfront in Sidney. Men’s Trauma Centre: Moving help for Saturday Aug. 31. Men’s Trauma Centre is seeking volunteers to load and unload a moving truck. Royal Jubilee Hospital: Mobile patient library cart volunteer. Volunteers provide patients with an accessible and free library service of books, magazines, or puzzle books. Volunteers are encouraged to have a conversation with patients while they are choosing their reading materials, thereby providing social support for patients.
