Learn about squirrels on walk

With fall just around the corner, one furry critter is getting busy. Going Squirrelly is a one-hour guided walk hosted by CRD Parks that helps explain the life of these creatures.

With fall just around the corner, one furry critter is getting busy. Going Squirrelly is a one-hour guided walk hosted by CRD Parks that helps explain the life of these creatures.

The walk, suitable for all ages, is led by a CRD Parks naturalist who will explain what it takes for squirrels to survive as the days grow shorter and fall and winter approach.

The guided walk is free. It runs from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Francis/King Regional Park. Meet at the nature centre off Munn Road. Try to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the program, and leave pets at home. For more information, go to crd.bc.ca/parks.
