Arena rock icons the Steve Miller Band will return to Victoria in September for one of only three Canadian dates on their upcoming intinerary.
Miller, the hugely successful hitmaker behind Jet Airliner, Take the Money and Run and The Joker, will bring The Americana Tour to the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on Sept. 1 as part of his 40-city summer run. No opening act has been announced for the upcoming tour, which gets underway in Austin, Texas, on June 13 — two days after Miller is inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in New York. Miller’s concert with Peter Frampton at the Blanshard Street Arena in 2018 drew 6,247 fans.
