A new song from Victoria band Ocie Elliott will appear on Grey’s Anatomy on March 21 — the third time in two weeks that music by a local artist has appeared on a major network show.
The band’s single Run to You is featured prominently on tonight’s episode of the Emmy Award-winning medical drama, which airs at 8 p.m. on CTV. The duo, which features real-life couple Jon Middleton and Sierra Lundy, released a debut album, We Fall In, to rave reviews last month.
Earlier this week, singer-songwriter Mike Edel had a new song, Finish Line, played during an episode of American Idol. Music from Metchosin rocker Jesse Roper also made its way onto American Idol on March 6, when contestant Jake Durkin of Nashville sang Roper’s song Anytime of Night during his audition.
