Pamela Anderson, Ladysmith’s most famous resident, will star in a new home renovation show on HGTV Canada.

Corus Studios announced Monday it will produce eight hour-long episodes of the as-yet untitled show, which will follow the former Baywatch star as she renovates her 5.6-acre property in Ladysmith. The series is set to premiere in 2022.

Anderson, 53, moved to Ladysmith in 2019 and took up residence on the former Arcady Auto Court property she purchased from her grandparents about 25 years ago. Anderson won a 2021 heritage award from the Ladysmith and District Historical Society for renovations to the property, which was assessed at $3.7 million in 2020, according to public records.

Anderson’s husband, Dan Hayhurst, a Ladysmith resident with roots in the local construction industry, will appear on the program. They were married Dec. 24, 2020 in a private ceremony at the same residence that will be showcased on the upcoming show. Anderson’s mother, Carol Anderson, and local crew, designers, and craftspeople will also be featured on the show, HGTV said.
