A children’s book from Metchosin author David McArthur has been acknowledged by the Readers’ Favourite International Book Awards.

What Does A Caterpillar Do? won a Silver Medal in the best preschool picture book category from Readers’ Favourite, one of the largest book review and award contest websites. McArthur’s fourth book, published in 2020, was chosen from thousands of contestants from over a dozen countries. McArthur joins a list of high-profile 2021 winners which includes actors Jim Carrey, Jonathan Frakes, and Eriq La Salle and TV personalities Bon Blossman, Landau Murphy Jr., and Diana Hart.

Profits from the book, an Amazon bestseller dedicated to Victoria sisters Chloe and Aubrey Berry, will benefit the Victoria Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Centre.
