Four ’90s Can-rock bands unite for summer tour, coming to Victoria June 29

Four Can-rock bands who dominated commercial radio in the 1990s are joining forces for a summer tour that will stop June 29 at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

The Tea Party, Big Wreck, Moist and the Headstones — who have a combined 30 Juno Award nominations during their careers — announced their joint Saints and Sinners tour Monday, a 17-date run that gets underway June 26 in Penticton. The running order will change each night on the tour, so it hasn’t been announced which band will headline in Victoria.

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through the Select Your Tickets box office (1925 Blanshard St.). They are also available at selectyourtickets.com or by phone from 250-220-7777. They are priced at $49, $59.50, and $69.50, with VIP upgrades running an additional $99.
