A cannabis growers’ conference is headed to the Victoria Conference Centre in June, with singer and actor Jim Belushi set to appear as a keynote speaker during the three-day event.
The Grow Up Conference and Expo is scheduled for June 20-22, with more than 3,000 people expected to attend. The event is produced by ND Supplies, a leading cannabis packaging and manufacturing supplier, and will showcase over 100 speakers, exhibitors and thousands of delegates.
The star attraction is actor Belushi, now an Oregon-based pot farmer and star of the hit Discovery Channel program, Growing Belushi. Horticulturist Ed Rosenthal, dubbed “The Guru of Ganja,” and Dutch cannabis breeder Simon Smit, among more than a dozen others, are also booked to appear as featured speakers.
Tickets for the event are priced from $50 (for one-day passes to $349 (for VIP designation). They are currently on sale through growupconference.com.
