English stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Eddie Izzard is bringing her Wunderbar tour to Canada in November with an 11-date trek that includes a stop in Victoria.

The celebrated tour by the genderfluid comic — which has been to 45 countries since 2019 — has been described as one of her most personal yet, and delves deeply into the politics of both the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Her stop at the Royal Theatre on Nov. 18 will be the first local appearance by Izzard, 59, since 2013.

Tickets go on sale Friday through the Royal Theatre box office. They can be purchased by phone at 250-386-6121 or online from rmts.bc.ca.
