The Bastion Square area will be home to a multi-faceted event Thursday with neighbourhood revitalization as its focus.
Presented by the Victoria Downtown Residents Association, the free event features everything from comedy to a night market and beer garden. The Alleyway Comedy Night (with eight local comedians) is set for 7 p.m. in the revitalized Commercial Alley, which has new wall art and lighting. Bastion Square will host the night market, with upwards of 15 vendors set up between Langley and Wharf Streets. Boomerang Square (located behind the Bastion Square parkade) will be home to two music acts in a fenced-in beer garden.
