Taiwanese bubble tea chain Milksha has opened their doors to a new location in Richmond.

Milksha has taken over Sharetea's former location on No. 3 Road between Westminster Highway and Saba Road.

The brand was founded in Tainan Jiali, Taiwan in 2004 and has since expanded with over 250 stores in Melbourne, Japan, Singapore and Macau.

They are known for their signature green pasture milk drinks as well as their taro milk and Milksha izumo matcha series.

There are also other drinks such as juices, teas and ice cream lattes.

According to Milksha’s website, the Taiwanese bubble tea chain doesn’t use dry tapioca pearls, artificial preservatives, additives and colouring.

Rather, the pearls are preserved using fast-freeze technology before being transported to stores from Taiwan.

Milksha opened their first North American location in Vancouver in October of last year.

New second location of Milksha ___ Fans of @milksha_van, here's some BERRY good news for you! They have opened their second shop at a TEA-rrific convenient spot in RICHMOND! Last month while at the Robson location, I saw a sign noting that their new shop is open. It's where former Sharetea was, on No.3 Road in Richmond. ___ : Ice Cream Strawberry @milksha_van You may already know that Milksha has ice cream drinks, launched a while back. But did you know that they've added a new flavour: ICE CREAM STRAWBERRY ? It's a blend of fresh strawberries, green tea, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sugar level can be customized, I opted for 30%. The drink is sweet and slushy, perfect for summer. ___ : 6111 No.3 Rd, Richmond, BC, V6Y 2B1 ⏲: Daily, 2 to 9 pm ___ . . .
