The Trinity Community Choir will present A Midwinter Noel in a special holiday concert as part of the popular Sunday @3 Concert Series.

Set for this Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. at Ladner United Church, the choir is directed by Natasha Neufeld, accompanied by Marcus Petrunia.

“We will do a mix of classical, traditional pieces with beautiful harmonies,” said Neufeld. “There will be some fun, lively stuff and Marcus is fabulous, so having him with us will be great. There will also be some fun sing-alongs, so something for everyone.”

Trinity Community Choir brings together beginning and advanced singers who are encouraged to express their musical passions through voice. The 20-plus member choir is SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) and its members of many different faiths hail from all over the Lower Mainland.

It rehearses at St. David’s Anglican Church in Tsawwassen on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Normally the choir performs two concerts each year: Christmas and late spring. Special concerts are occasionally held as a fundraising events for charities or persons in need. Talented local instrumental musicians often join the choir for concerts, adding to the texture of the voices.

Admission for Sunday’s concert is $10 at the door. Ladner United Church is located at 4960-48th Ave.
