Satya Yoga is the new yoga studio in Tsawwassen, located in the old Starbucks on 56th St. Jugjeet Heer, owner of Satya Yoga, understands the importance of connecting with the community.

“Being part of the community is vitally important to us,” said Heer. “One way to showing our values is to offer a weekly Karma class. We hope the money raised will help sustain the programs and services that are offered at the Little House.”

Satya Yoga is holding the weekly class on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. where teachers’ volunteer their time and participants pay by donation to take the class. Proceeds from the Karma Class will help Little House Society continue to provide programs and services for residents of Delta touched by substance use disorder.

“Building partnerships within the community we serve is what it’s all about,” adds Little House executive director Joni Wright. “We rely on the support of local businesses and individuals to continue offering programs and services for residents of Delta. Jugjeet’s generosity tells us we are making important connections in south Delta, and we are overwhelmingly grateful.”
