Looking for a little pre-Halloween fun for the small person in your household?

The Burnaby Public Library can help.

Get into the spirit of the season with a Friday afternoon movie screening at the McGill branch (4595 Albert St.) tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 25). From 3 to 4:30 p.m., families can join in the fun at a screening of Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.

It’s free, and no registration is required, but space is limited, so arrive early. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Then, on Monday, Oct. 28, you can pop in to the Tommy Douglas branch (7311 Kingsway) for a MakerSpace: Halloween Crafts session from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Kids aged five to 12 can make ghosts, spooky cards and more. Costumes are welcome. You don’t need to sign up ahead.

Kids under 10 need to bring an adult who will take part. Call 604-522-3971 for information.
