Local voters still have time to check out what local candidates have to say before heading to the polls on Oct. 21.

If you’ve missed the all-candidates meetings that have already take place during this year’s federal election campaign, you still have a couple of opportunities to hear from the New Westminster-Burnaby candidates.

The Burnaby Board of Trade is holding a meet and greet for candidates in Burnaby’s three ridings, including New Westminster-Burnaby. It’s on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Firefighters Banquet Hall, 6515 Bonsor Ave.

The Massey Victory Heights Residents’ Association is planning an all-candidates meeting on Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 930 Cumberland St. The first hour is a chance for folks to mingle and talk to the candidates, followed by a one-hour roundtable discussion.
