While Justin Trudeau was back east preparing for the Oct. 7 leaders’ debate, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau was getting to know some locals.
The Liberal leader’s wife popped into New Westminster-Burnaby candidate Will Davis’s campaign office on Monday afternoon to visit with volunteers.
“It was kind of a dreary Monday, but not with Sophie there,” said a local woman who was at the office. “I really thought it was a great moment for New Westminster.”
A day after visiting New Westminter, Trudeau campaigned in Burnaby, where she sat down with a local Liberal candidate and the Burnaby NOW to talk about women in leadership. You can read about that here.
