PLACE YOUR BIDS
Two annual auctions to support Port Coquitlam-based charities are now on: The Amanda Todd Legacy Society, which is giving proceeds to a number of programs, ends Monday while the Ultimate Online Auction for the I Am Someone — Ending Bullying Society wraps up Oct. 20. PEEWEE HOCKEY

CRAFT BEER FEST
Coquitlam’s only microbrewery, Mariner Beer, hosts its fall festival at its venue (H-1100 Lansdowne Dr.) from 6 p.m. to midnight featuring sounds from DJ Joey and the release of two new beers: Festival Vienna Lager and a fruit sour. Visit marinerbrewing.ca.

ART OPENINGS
Meet the artists behind the three exhibits opening at Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam): Mat Holmstrom (Pacific Splendour); koralee (Capacity); and Rose Kapp (Character Building). CINDERELLAS SHOW

BANJOS, PENNY WHISTLES
The band My American Boyfriend — aka Tom Rawson and Ellen van der Hoeven — headline the Crossroads Hospice Society’s coffeehouse concert, held at the Gathering Place in Leigh Square (next to Port Coquitlam city hall). HAWKE FILM
The thriller First Reformed — starring Ethan Hawke as Rev.
