Beach Grove Golf Club

Beach Grove Golf Club wants to change the way you think about private golf clubs.

“A lot of people think that private golf clubs are expensive and that there’s this exclusive, judgmental attitude among the members,” says Beach Grove Golf Club’s General Manager, Richard J. Creally. “That’s definitely not the case here.”

Nestled in the heart of sunny Tsawwassen, Beach Grove Golf Club has a long list of members that includes golfers of all levels and ages.

“You certainly don’t have to be an exceptional golfer to join Beach Grove,” says Creally. “And there’s lots to do here off the course here, as well—whether it’s dining in our restaurant, browsing the latest products in our pro shop, or taking part in one of our many social activities.”

Built in 1929, Beach Grove has deep roots in Tsawwassen and the surrounding area, and it aims to be a reflection of the varied nature of the gorgeous seaside community.

“We are committed to welcoming the entire community to our club,” says Creally. “We want to invite people of any age to come enjoy the game and the atmosphere, even if they’ve never golfed before.”

Beach Grove Golf Club is a championship golf course layout par 71, playing 6200 yards from the back trees. The course is filled with mature trees and boasts the truest greens in the Lower Mainland.

“It’s a lot of work to keep a golf course like Beach Grove in such exceptional condition,” Creally admits. “But we’re really committed to offering a world-class facility at affordable prices to golfers of all levels.”

It helps to be located in Metro Vancouver’s sunniest micro-climate: Tsawwassen receives 40% less precipitation than the rest of Metro Vancouver each year.

“We can’t control the weather,” says Creally, laughing, “but it’s so beautiful here that our members often think we do!”
