Water is running again in Bluewater homes connected to the municipal water system after a more than three hour service outage Friday.

Bowen Island Municipality sent out an alert Friday morning at around 11:30 a.m. telling residents that the water was shutoff for emergency repairs. There are nearly 150 homes connected to the Bluewater system.

BIM said that the repairs were happening somewhere on Windjammer Rd.

The emergency repairs are the latest in ongoing water issues with the Bluewater Park and King Edward Bay (KEB) water systems, which have been on stage four water restrictions since May.
