Tailored to suit your individual needs, Augustine House provides gracious retirement living in a beautiful country setting.

Say goodbye to grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning. Lift that weight off your shoulders, relax and enjoy the things you like to do on your own terms.

Augustine House believes in providing premium care, support and housing for seniors so that they can fully enjoy an independent lifestyle.

“Many of our staff have been here since we opened in 2003,” says Anne Sanders, the manager of community relations. “It’s a wonderful team and the residents feel that too.”

Augustine House offers bright suites with various floor plans and a spacious main floor lounge where you can connect with others. The main focus is choice. Be as busy as you like, or enjoy the solitude of your own suite – it’s up to you.

The staff at Augustine House also believe in empowering its residents to remain active by offering a variety of recreational programs. Join one of their fitness classes, such as yoga, to improve your balance and range of motion. Or take part in card games, Team Trivia, picnics, and movies. Bus outings are also offered with trips to Horseshoe Bay and Stanley Park in the summer.

A popular highlight at the residence is Happy Hour every Friday with entertainment and a wonderful selection of wine and beers. Residents are encouraged to invite their friends and family, which adds to the party atmosphere.

“The staff really are kind and caring,” says Sanders. “The environment is so warm and welcoming, providing the utmost respect, compassion and dignity in a safe retirement community – so you can continue to enjoy what you love to do.”

Charlotte England, who has been a resident at  Augustine House for three years after moving from her home in Ladner, says, “if you’re choosing a retirement residence, Augustine House is as good as it gets.”
