Letter: 'Sensitive' makes no sense for pot in Port Moody

The Editor,

Re. "PoMo cannabis applicants left hanging by council adjournment" (The Tri-City News, Nov. 28) and "Letter: A 'no' to pot shops in Port Moody" (tricitynews.com, Nov. 29).

Why is an arts centre, which families visit, considered to be a "sensitive" area and a residential area, where families with children and young people live, not considered to be sensitive?

If one is being incredibly charitable in their thinking, it could be said that the guidelines Port Moody council uses are arbitrary.
