An 80-member vocal group that meets in Port Coquitlam for rehearsals will start up its season in September.

And Choral Connections is in need of new adult singers to fill out the roster — especially men.

Directed by Ingrid Gay with accompaniment by pianist Vincent Lo, the ensemble resumes its Tuesday practices on Sept. 10 at Riverside secondary school (2215 Reeve St., PoCo) at 7:30 p.m.

No auditions are required to participate; however, some background in music is beneficial, spokesperson Harvey Loucks said.

The choir sings at two main shows a year and entertains at community events as well as at seniors homes.
