However, these bright days do have some colder nights, with a low of 1 C Monday, -2 C Tuesday and -1 C Wednesday.
Starting Thurday, rain is in the forecast through to Sunday, with mild temperatures.
The warmest temperature on record for Feb. 17 is 15 C, in 1943, and the lowest in 1990 at -11 C. In 1989, this day saw 18 cm of snow, according to historical data provided by Environment Canada.
