New fish & chips truck with serious cred rolling out soon in Vancouver

Nothing says west coast comfort grub like golden fried fish & chips. Soon Vancouverites and hungry visitors alike will be able to grub down from a brand new food truck specializing in fried fish. And this truck comes with some serious eats cred.

Nothing says west coast comfort grub like golden fried fish & chips. Soon Vancouverites and hungry visitors alike will be able to grub down from a brand new food truck specializing in fried fish. And this truck comes with some serious eats cred.

Called Catch Weight Fish Shop, this new “best coast” venture is the next likely treat-yo-self hole-in-one from the same team behind the DL Chicken Shack and Downlow Burgers.

Catch Weight is taking their cue from “the best fish and chipperies in the world” but “with a little West Coast flare.”

On the menu, first and foremost will be the classic fish and chips. But Catch Weight is also looking to reel in our tastebuds with their take on McD’s Friday Night classic fried fish sandwich, plus fresh ceviche and tortilla chips, and dill-battered fish tacos.

Everything will be made using sustainable and local ingredients.
