Dear Editor,
If I had little children, I wouldn’t let them go out trick-or-treating this year. At the same time, I wouldn’t want to deprive them of the fun of getting a large haul of treats.
So, I thought, why not do what we used to do for Easter egg hunts when the weather was really bad — hide the Halloween goodies throughout the house and let the kids search for them, in full costume, on Oct. 31.
