The City of Richmond is looking for volunteers to contribute to one of over 20 advisory committees where more than 100 positions are scheduled to begin in January 2020.

“The advisory committees play an important role in helping inform strategy and decisions that impact current and future residents,” said Mayor Malcolm Brodie.

“Through participation and collaboration on the committees, valuable insights are shared on a variety of areas of civic importance such as the environment, childcare, seniors, arts, agriculture and the economy.”

Council appointed roles are all voluntary with no remuneration where committee sizes and length of period varies.

Application deadline for completed forms and resumes is September 23 at 5 p.m.
